Everest: After Dark

8:30pm – Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015

Come welcome the Pittsburgh winter weather with Pitt Program Council’s showing of Everest!

On the morning of May 10, 1996, climbers from two commercial expeditions start their final ascent toward the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. With little warning, a violent storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered by man. Challenged by the harshest conditions imaginable, the teams must endure blistering wind and freezing temperatures in an epic battle to survive against nearly impossible odds.

First 10 students will receive an 11″ x 17″ movie poster!
FREE popcorn, drinks, and snacks will be available for everyone in attendance.
This event is FREE to students with valid Pitt (Oakland) ID.
Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact Pitt Program Council at ppc@pitt.edu for proper accommodation.
