Come join Pitt Program Council for a fun night of axe throwing and escape room competition! On Thursday, February 24th students will be bussed to Escape Room Pittsburgh for a chance to complete an escape room and participate in axe throwing.
When signing up, students will be placed into two groups (A or B). These groups will switch halfway through the event to ensure everyone has a chance to do both activities.
Students will have the opportunity to choose which specific escape room they would like to try. The choices are as follows:
1. Tomb Explorer: Follow along in the footsteps of famed archaeologist Chester Coppertop to explore a newly uncovered tomb in the valley of kings. Discover the mysteries behind the stone door and find the 4 idols of power to escape before oxygen runs out.
2. Subway Escape: Your gang, The Rockers, are being framed in the disappearance of a local kingpin named Niko. You must safely navigate your way to the rival gang’s secret hideout, find evidence which proves your innocence, and broadcast it to the rest of the city before it’s too late.
Tickets (32) for this event will be $10 with a limit of one ticket per student. Sign-ups will begin in the Pitt Program Council Office (WPU M-30) on Monday, February 7th. Sign-ups will close on Wednesday, February 23rd.
