Join Pitt Program Council for Pitt’s annual Fall Fest concert featuring Desiigner, Aminé, WPTS Radio’s featured Artist, and the student winner of the Pitt Program Council Battle of the Bands! What better way is there to celebrate the begging of another great semester at Pitt than being surrounded by your fellow panthers listening to live music? Starting at noon on Saturday Septmebr 23rd, Bigelow Boulevard will be transformed into the best music venue in all of Pittsburgh!
In addition to the live music, make sure to check out the PittArts Artsfest on the WPU Lawn! Don’t forget to check out games and activities hosted on Bigelow by Pitt student organizations!
About the artists:
Desiigner is a Grammy nominated Brooklyn born rapper, writer, and producer. He is best known for his hit debut single “Panda”. He has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, and Quavo. Desiigner has set himself apart with his unique style of southern Hip Hop influenced Trap Music. He is preparing to release his debut album “Life of Desiigner”, a follow up on his debut mixtape from June 2016 “New English” Desiigner received nominations from the Teen Choice Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, American Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards, and The Grammy Awards. He won two awards from the Billboard Music Awards: Top Rap Song, and Top Streaming Song (video).
Aminé is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Portland Oregon. He skyrocketed to fame with the success of his 2016 debut single “Caroline”. In July 2017, he released his 15 song debut studio album “Good for You” featuring popular singles like “Caroline”, “Heebiejeebies” featuring Kehlani, “REDMERCEDES”, “Wedding Crashers” and more!. He has recently performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
