Join the Pitt Program Council for a screening of Hidden Figures and panel discussion!

The story of a team of African-American women mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the US space program.

The panel discussion will feature several prominent Pitt community members speaking on the difficulty of the events in the movie and the obstacles that had to be overcome.

The panel will include Vice Provost of Undergraduate Studies Juan Manfredi, Dr. Elayne Arrington, Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering Peyman Givi, and a current NASA employee.

Free popcorn, candy, and drinks will be provided. Doors open at 7:30 PM.

All Pitt Program council events are open to all Pitt students with a valid (Oakland) Student ID.
